GoPro Hero 3+ and Accessories[Must Have]

Well.. Well.. Well... I have been looking for the best waterproof camera in town since last year September(because I was going to Phuket for a week), but seriously, like some of you out there, I had NEVER heard of this camera before. Whenever I googled a waterproof camera, it was always the Nikon Coolpix, Pentax, Panasonic, Sony and many more were the ones that coming out from the search results, no signs of GoPro at all(I don't know why). So I ended up buying a Dicapac Waterproof Casing for Digicams which is not actually that bad because I read few reviews that some of those cameras mentioned were not really good for long run use.

My First GoPro: Hero 3+

Alright so the first time I saw it was in Instagram. Somebody posted a video of her swimming while using GoPro Hero 3+ And when I saw it, first thing that came to my mind was "OMG! That is Awesome! That is what I was looking for!" Then I took my iPad and googled everything I need to know about it and the first thing that I found out was, It's not just a waterproof camera, it is something that everyone who likes to capture every moment of their life and adventure must get one of this!

So after 1 week of reading, I went to a shop in Bugis Area, and got myself one of it! And i am the happiest girl in the world after!


Okay, So before I say anything more, let's start with What is GoPro first?



GoPro is an american brand of high definition ACTION CAMERA which is known to be lightweight(74g), mountable at most of the things like Helmet, surf boards, wake boards, motorbikes, cars, planes, boats, tripods and even wearable on human chest, head, and arms. It is also an excellent partner on water sports like diving and snorkeling if you want to capture every moment of your trip with the use of a durable waterproof casing which you can buy separately. So these are the few reasons, why it was considered the most versatile because you can actually used it to any sports or activities without any giving you a hard time carrying so much of things with you.

2. Battery Charger and Extra Battery





GoPro allows you to charge your unit through USB Cable attached to your computer, or any power source that has an Input of USB. But if you just bought an extra battery, you will also want to buy a charger that will let you charge your batter separately.

3. Sandisk Micro SDHC/SDHX Extreme Class 10 Memory Card

Above all the accessories(that were not included in the package), this is the most important to take note when buying, a Class 10 Micro SD Memory Card. What's the difference?

Well, like what I keep on saying, GoPro has a very powerful features and very high definition video and images which a normal memory card will not be able to response to it well. I suggest you to get a Sandisk Extreme Micro SDHC 32GB or SDHX 64GB Memory Card to have a smooth shooting of your images and film. This SD card delivers fast write speed of up to 45MB per second for bust photo capture and recording up to 4K resolution and full HD Video(1080p) and fast read speed of up to 45MB per second for a quicker data transfer. This will also avoid you from any image and video corruptions.

This is one really important to arrange and organize your GoPro properly especially when you are traveling. I bought a small but good one that can fit 2 batteries, 1 remote, 1 LCD BacPac, and GoPro Camera with Housing. It has a small compartment as well where you can put some thin things like memory card/reader, papers, money, cards and etc.





Last but not the least.....

5. Monopod





Okay, this is a trend right now especially for Smartphone users who like to take selfie, but don't worry, you can also use this for your GoPro to take areal view shots, group shots and of course your adventure shots. It is a single pole that is usually extendable. There are lots of type of it that you can buy on the market, but for now, let me present to you this one which is also compatible for Smartphones.

It will usually comes with a phone clip only. It is very compact and good  when traveling, watching concerts, at the beach, group pictures and many more!
