5 out of 5 stars! Yes that's my rating to this South Korean Zombie, thriller film, Train to Busan! Why? Well first the actors are really great! Next the CGI's are also cool, you would actually think that you're watching a hollywood film. And last, it was heartbreaking. Why? Let me share with you what happened to it. It is a story of Zombie Apocalypse that happened in South Korea? Wait what? Just like that? NO! It was something deep.

Seok-woo(Gong Yoo) is a hardworking selfish man working as a Fund Manager is city of Seoul. He is separated from his wife who currently lives in Busan. He has a daughter named Soo-an(Kim Soo-Ahn) whom he don't spend much time with because he's always busy with his work. Soo-an is celebrating her birthday the next day and her wish from her father is to go and see her mother in Busan. Although not happy with what she's asking, Seok-woo agreed to go the next morning.

Upon going to the train station, riots are starting to happen in the city. They arrived on the train early morning and before it leaves, an infected zombie girl jumps into the train. And they the apocalypse begin. The trasition started with the train stewardess, and then the rest of the passengers. Soo-an, in need for the toilet was almost got up by the zombies, luckily Seok-woo was quick to get her. During survival, the father and daughter meet the couple Sang-Hwa(Ma Dong Seok) and Sung Gyeong(Jung Yu-Mi) who is pregnant at the moment.

The story evolves with escaping with the zombies inside the train. There were no place safe except Busan that is why they have to be there. Unfortunately, there is this selfish man named Yong-suk(Kim Eui Sung)who is desperate to make himself safe and makes everyone close to him as bait for the zombies.

Meanwhile, almost reaching the safe cabin, Sang Hwa was holding onto the door and blocking all the zombies keeping his wife safe and the rest of them was bitten by one of them because Yong-suk brainwashed all the passengers that they might be already infected and not safe to be with them anymore. They locked the door, making Seuk-woo's company took so long to enter the safe cabin. They managed to break the glass door but it was too late for Sang-Hwa. He's already infected.

However, Yong-suk asked everyone to join him in chasing Seuk-woo's company outside the cabin, and so he won. Their group went to the next cabin. Little did everyone know's, the safe cabin no more when one of the auntie open it because she found everyone selfish. infected almost all of them inside.

Almost reaching Busan, the train was blocked by other trains that fell might be during heavy zombie riots. So the conductor informed everyone to transfer to other train. He went out and find a new train. When almost leaving, he saw Yong-suk running after the train and helped him, unfortunately he was just pulled off by him and was eaten by the zombies.

Seok-woo with her daughter and Sung Gyeong saw the train leaving and run after it while being chase by loads of zombies. When they got onto the train and want to check the conductors cabin, they found Yong-suk inside and infected already without him realizing it. Yong-suk said that the only reason why he is so desperate to go to Busan because his mother is there waiting for him, and he really wants to see him(A bit sad for him though). In a couple of minutes, he is already fully infected. He was thrown by Seok-woo out of the train, but left a bite on his hands.

Seok-woo brought the two ladies inside the conductors cabin and teach them the basics before saying goodbye to them especially to his daughter. He locked them out of the cabin. He went to the end part of the train, and there while he is slowly getting infected, his memories of his daughter when she's a baby popped into his mind. There it shows how happy he was before jumping himself out of the train. Sung Gyeong and Soo-an, the only survivors reached Busan safely and was rescued by the military people.

My Favorite Part:

The most heartbreaking part where Sang-Hwa was bitten by the zombie and got infected. He was a nice man, although a bit hard, but he's soft when it comes to his wife, before totally infected, he told his wife the name to be of their child. and there I broke down in tears.

Also the Seok-woo scene where he is slowly getting infected by the virus. He remembers his memories of Soo-an as a baby. It shows that he's a really good father who is just doing everything to give the best to his daughter.
